CopperPin - Business First. AI Second.

Technical Strategist, Consultant

Run Discovery Sprints — find the workflow worth automating, quantify its baseline, and write the deployment plan an engineering team can execute without you in the room.

You are not writing a strategy deck that gets filed away. You are writing the document that determines whether the next twelve weeks of engineering time is well spent — and you're structurally free to conclude the client shouldn't build anything at all.

Why CopperPin

You'll shape which deployments happen at all, working directly with the executives who own the P&L — with the credibility that comes from a firm that turns down more engagements than it accepts.

What you'll do

  1. 01Run client discovery: interviews, process walkthroughs, and data review to find the workflow worth automating
  2. 02Quantify the baseline — cost, time, error rate — well enough that "did it work" has one answer
  3. 03Write the Deployment Plan: scope, integration surface, success metric, timeline
  4. 04Say no when the honest recommendation is not to build, and explain why in terms a CFO accepts
  5. 05Stay close to delivery once a Deployment Plan converts, as the client's sounding board

What we look for

  • Consulting or technical strategy background, ideally with direct exposure to enterprise operations — not purely slide-based experience
  • Enough technical fluency to reason about integration complexity and AI feasibility yourself
  • Comfort with quantitative rigor — you build the baseline model, you don't take it on faith
  • The willingness to tell a client the answer they didn't want to hear

Important

This role is client-embedded and requires regular travel to client sites across the engagement regions. It is not a remote strategy role.
